We are seeking an experienced Temporary Butler / Service Stewardess to join a fully staffed private family estate in The Hamptons for a three-week assignment this summer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support a high-profile family during their seasonal residence, delivering seamless front-of-house service and helping ensure the household runs effortlessly. The principals lead a relaxed, family-oriented lifestyle with three young children and are looking for someone who is polished, discreet, and proactive with a natural eye for detail.
The successful candidate will be confident providing high-end service in a private household, anticipating the family's needs while maintaining a warm, approachable, and professional presence. The principal can initially come across as reserved and direct in their communication, so a calm, adaptable, and intuitive approach is essential.
The Role
- Delivering exceptional food and beverage service throughout the day.
- Setting and clearing tables to a high standard.
- Preparing and serving drinks, refreshments, and light service for the family and guests.
- Assisting with entertaining and informal events as required.
- Maintaining immaculate presentation of dining and service areas.
- Working closely with the household team to ensure seamless daily operations.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a private household, luxury yacht, or high-end hospitality environment.
- Strong food and beverage service skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Professional, discreet, and confident working around principals and guests.
- Positive, proactive, and able to anticipate needs without being intrusive.
- Flexible, personable, and a strong team player.
- Must hold a valid US Passport or Green Card.
Package
- Approximately 3-week temporary assignment.
